Mount Uhud is one of Islam’s most significant landmarks and was the site of the historic Battle of Uhud in 625 CE, where many companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ were m*rtyred. 
The Prophet ﷺ held a special love for Uhud and famously said, “Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it.”
Today, millions of Muslims visit the mountain while in Madinah and reflect on its enduring place in Islamic history.
